金不换，豫剧丑角艺术家，以原名金振秀闻名于世。出生于河南省的封丘县，他在1985年毕业于鹤壁市戏曲训练班，并被分配到同城的豫剧团。在那里，他得益师承了牛得草这位著名的豫剧丑角演员。金振秀对老师的艺术深感迷恋，而牛得草也对这个热爱艺术、刻苦学习的年轻人充满喜爱。当时，牛得草评价他说：“你对艺术如此热衷，你学业这么勤奋，这种精神是无价之宝，即使黄金也换不来。你就叫我给你起个名字吧，叫做‘金不换’。”从此以后，金振秀拥有了一个闪耀如黄金般光芒四射的名字。
与老师共度朝夕13年的岁月直至老师逝世，那段时间里，他耳濡目染地继承了老师传授的手艺。《七品芝麻官》便是他通过亲传技艺所演绎的一场经典表演。这部作品成为了他久远以来一直保留并精心维护的一个看家戏。他还擅长在基础上发挥自己的独特嗓音和模仿能力，如在《十八扯》中，不仅以其绝妙的声音再现了豫东地区著名须生的唱腔，也模仿了一些沙河调代表人物如唐喜成，以及马金凤五大名旦之一代表作中的情感细腻唱段。而这些都展示出了他的深厚基本功和卓越才华。
1999年，在晋京竞评“第十七届梅花奖”期间，Gold changed his mentor to the renowned Chinese playwright and theater theorist, Mr. Niu Ruo. In 2000, he won the "Seventeenth China Drama Plum Blossom Award". He also starred in the film art piece "The Seventh Rank Magistrate Sells Sweet Potatoes" in 2004, which earned him the "Tenth China Film Huabiao Award for Excellent Peking Opera Film".
Currently, Gold serves as the artistic director of Henan Provincial Peking Opera Theater. Born in 1967, he is a member of the Peking Opera troupe with a long history of performances that have left audiences spellbound.
